Angola and Swaziland to re-launch bilateral relations

Angola and Swaziland intend to re-launch in the coming times their bilateral relations of cooperation, having as priority the sectors of Agriculture and Cattle-raising, informed the Angolan ambassador to that country, Garcia Bires. The Angolan diplomat said that in the ambit of the exchange of experiences Angola might get the vast knowledge that Swaziland has in the area of agriculture and cattle-raising (farming and Cattle-raising take about 75 percent of the country's work force in Swaziland), since that country has been facing a lot of difficulties due to the drought, however, it has been getting good results in dealing with the situation. The Angolan diplomat revealed that the Health sector was also a priority, explaining that the two states might cooperate in the fight against Aids, tuberculosis and malaria, among other endemic diseases. He added that the two countries, in the framework of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), would cooperate to overcome the difficulties facing the continent. (Angola Press Agency, Luanda)
