African Vienna

Based on the famous book, SADOCC organizes occasionally - escpecially in the warmer season - guided city walks titled "African Vienna". You will become familiar with the Austro-African encounters throughout the centuries: the fate of Africans living in Vienna yesterday and today, prominent Austrian researchers on African affairs, perceptions of Africa in Viennese culture.

"African Vienna" shows that apart from racism and xenophobia, there has always also been integration and fruitful exchange.
